Billboard Music Awards 2016: Full Winners’ List
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards aired today (May 22), live from Las Vegas. Hosted by Ciara and Ludacris, it was a rather interesting evening, folks. Britney Spears was this year’s Billboard Millennium Award recipient, and power balladeer Céline Dion was crowned with the 2016 Icon Award. Both singers also gave performances throughout the show.
From the get-go, this was a huge night for Canada. Bedroom crooner The Weeknd was up for a whopping 19 awards in 16 different categories, followed by Justin Bieber (12 times in 11 categories) and Drake (11 times in 10 categories). Fetty Wap was also nominated 11 times while Taylor Swift and Adele were up for eight awards respectively.
