Tegan And Sara’s “Boyfriend” Gets Four Glorious Remixes: Listen
In advance of their eighth studio album Love You To Death, Tegan And Sara have released four sprawling remixes of their lead single “Boyfriend.”
Enlisting artists like Robokid, Gilligan Moss, and Alex Ghenea, the remixes range from giant club floorfillers to high-tempo bubbly pop bangers. The biggest standout, though, seems to be Shura‘s take on the track. The British singer trades the number’s original joyous synths for airy, dreamy ones, as she makes the Quin sisters repeatedly sing the song’s broodiest one-liner: “I played myself.”
