Betty Who Announces New Single “#ILYAF”
Here’s some good news to brighten up your Tuesday! Betty Who returns on Friday (June 3) with a new single called “#ILYAF.” She hasn’t revealed what the acronym stands for yet or given a hint as to her new direction, but the artwork (above) screams dance-pop to me. The last we heard from the Australian diva was her feature on Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood highlight “Heaven,” so new music is long overdue.
The 24-year-old burst onto the pop scene in 2013 with “Somebody Loves You,” which soon went viral and was embraced by many as a marriage-equality anthem. She followed that up with shimmery singles “Heartbreak Dream” and “All Of You” — both of which featured on her critically-acclaimed debut LP Take Me When You Go. Check out her cryptic tweets below.
