Martin Solveig & Tkay Maidza’s Surreal “Do It Right” Video
After generating serious hype with debut EP Switch Tape and a feature on Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood highlight “DKLA,” Australia singer/rapper Tkay Maidza delivers her most accessible track to date courtesy of a catchy collaboration with Martin Solveig. The 20-year-old makes a winning cameo on the French DJ’s latest club-banger “Do It Right,” which is sure to conquer dance floors from Sydney to Seattle as the weather warms up.
Directed by Monsieur L’Agent, the video arrives today (June 2) and it’s a surreal, summery affair. The clip begins with Martin wandering around a pastel-colored building while Tkay casually does her thing. It gets progressively weirder from there as chic women pour milk on a plant and a pose with a dude in a Chewbacca suit. “Do It Right” is expected to feature on Martin’s upcoming fifth LP, along with international club hits “Intoxicated” and “+1.” Watch up top.
