Pop Perspective: "Nothing Is Promised."
Mike WiLL Made It and Rihanna reunite for another banger. But does it top "Pour It Up"?

Fifth Harmony member Dinah Jane Hansen can’t help but be productive. Just one week after the X Factor-formed girl group released its sophomore album 7/27, Dinah hit the studio with Oakland, Calif., rapper-producer Stunna June to record a ballad. “But you always make up to break up / I give my all to you, I give my all to you,” Dinah sings in a snippet. With how her voice coasts to those high notes, though, she doesn’t sound like she is stressing at all.

This isn’t the first time that a Fifth Harmony member has hit the studio without her other girls. Normani Kordei has covered Tory Lanez‘s R&B hit “Say It,” while Camila Cabello teamed with Shawn Mendes for “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” The way Camila puts it, such alone time doesn’t mean that the group is breaking up. “We are very different, and I think that the healthiest thing in a group like that is to let ourselves explore,” she says to Rolling Stone.
