Little Boots Announces ‘Afterhours’ EP

Following her 2015 album Working GirlLittle Boots continues her corporate world theme with the Afterhours EP, out June 17 via On Repeat Records. “EP” is a bit generous, though, as it’s only two songs — the Richard X-produced “Staring At The Sun” and the Sam Sparro-assisted “Face To Face.”

But such a small-stakes release fits with the vision the British synth-popper had for it, calling it “the soundtrack for when the photocopier powers down and the office is locked up and you want to find somewhere to let your hair down and forget about the day.” The release accompanies her partnership with NOIZ, a new remix/mashup app.

Below, hear “Staring At The Sun,” if you didn’t already catch it in our latest playlist from The Drop.
