Hear Hudson Mohawke’s Rejected ‘ANTI’ Demo
Rihanna‘s wide-ranging ANTI explores all kinds of sonic moods, but one that didn’t make the cut was a subdued electro-ballad from Hudson Mohawke and Littlebabyangel.

The LuckyMe artist shared their submission on Soundcloud, and its warm twinkles certainly could’ve fit on the Rihanna effort. After she passed on it, the song ended up having a much darker second life: As Pigeons & Planes points out, an expanded version of the HudMo production, with added input from Oneohtrix Point Never, ended up as the bed for ANOHNI‘s drone bomb laments on her bleak Hopelessness cut “Crisis.”
