Zayn Gets Support From Girlfriend Gigi Hadid & Ellie Goulding Following Anxiety Revelation

Poor Zayn. The sexy Mind Of Mine crooner pulled out of a scheduled appearance at this past weekend’s annual Capital FM Summertime Ball following his revelation that he’s been suffering from “the worst anxiety of [his] career.”

“Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me,” the singer posted on Twitter.

This prompted Zayn’s girlfriend and “Pillowtalk” video co-star to reply with an online letter of support (rather than, you know, just calling him) that reads, in part, “I’ve seen the battles you go through and the way you fight to get to a place you to get up there for your fans. Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honestly last night proved what you’re all about, being real.”

Fellow British pop artist Ellie Goulding also chimed in by tweeting, “Anxiety is real… I know the feeling.”

Those who did take the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium and performed at Capital FM Summertime Ball included Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande, Little Mix, Years & Years, Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson.
