Watch Justin Bieber Fight Back Tears As He Tributes Christina Grimmie
We’re a few days out from Christina Grimmie‘s murder and the Orlando nightclub attack, but the tributes and reactions from stars keep pouring in as people figure out how to process such a horrific weekend of violence. Even Justin Bieber paid his respects with a quick tribute to the late Grimmie during his recent show in Winnipeg.
The star was sprawled out on the stage performing “Purpose,” when he sings “Grimmie, can you hear me?” and appears to wipe away tears. Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez, was close friends with Grimmie, which is how he knew her.

The former Voice contestant was shot dead during a fan meet-and-greet after a show in Florida on June 10. The gunman took his own life after being tackled by Grimmie’s brother on the scene.
