D∆WN’s “Not Above That” Video Is The Coolest Thing You’ll See Today

We haven’t even had time to probably recover from D∆WN‘s amazing high fashion-inspired video for “Wake Up,” but the “Honest” singer (real name Dawn Richard) is back with a brand new virtual reality visual for the sprawling club number “Not Above That” via Wired.

Co-produced by VR Playhouse, the visual blasts you off on a rocket ship through space. Below, you see the jet engines of the ship, above is the dark abyss of the unknown and straight ahead? Holograms of Richard doing intricate dance moves. It sounds crazy because it is. It’s also the coolest thing you’ll see today.

“As an entrepreneur I’ve always had a vision to expand music beyond the linear frames,” Richard wrote on Instagram. “With this release, we’ve done just that. This VR experience not only transports you to a CGI world but also includes spatial sound that will elevate your visual and auditory senses. Indie just took huge strides. And we are proud to be among the first to do it.”
