A small funeral in New Jersey has been planned for singer and Season 6 The Voice contestant Christina Grimmie later this week, People reports. Grimmie, who was 22, was born in this small community of Marlton, New Jersey. “It’s just going to be a small, intimate gathering for her family and close friends,” a source told People.

Grimmie was signing autographs after a concert on Saturday, June 10 at Orlando’s Plaza Live Theater when 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl walked up to her and shot the singer. She died the following day.

Artists such as Justin Bieber, Kesha, Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez, whose stepfather was Grimmie’s manager, have expressed their grief over the untimely death of the singer, while her former Voice coach Adam Levine offered to pay for this week’s funeral.

A GoFundMe page to support Grimmie’s family, created by Grimmie’s manager Brian Teefey, has raised almost $170,000.
