Watch Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato Talk About Why They’re Always Wet, Perform On ‘Colbert’
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato‘s joint Future Now Tour still doesn’t kick off for about another week, even though they announced it basically forever ago. But now they’re in full promo mode, and the two pals stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for an interview last night (June 16).
They kicked it off by revealing this was their first time doing a talk show together, and Colbert brought out an old photo of the two of them teaming up back in their teenage Disney days. The host later joked around about why all their recent publicity shots seem to involve water. “Do you not have time to bathe off-camera, is that how busy you are?” Nick also explained the time he had to introduce Donald Trump at the Miss Universe pageant, and Demi revealed that when she was eight she had a crush on Barney the Dinosaur.
But before all that, Demi helped kick off the show with an a cappella speed run through the National Anthem with Colbert, and Nick closed out the show with “Close.” Check out those two performances below.
