MØ Debuts New Song “Goodbye” At Glastonbury: Watch
MØ debuted a new song while performing at Glastonbury on June 25. Pop fans may know her as the voice from “Lean On,” the Major Lazer party-starter that became a 2015 summer anthem. (There was also “Beg for It,” off Iggy Azalea‘s The New Classic reissue Reclassified.) But with the ballad “Goodbye,” MØ gets vulnerable, with her plaintive vocals about risking it all for love: “One dollar for all your thoughts, wish I could keep what I bought.”
The crowd cheered for the change of pace, which seemed to put MØ at ease. “Thank you. That was nerve-wracking,” she said, laughing nervously. Watch below.
