Zayn Malik Covers ‘Elle UK’ September Issue
This fall Elle UK debuts its redesign, to appear “braver, bolder and SMARTER than ever before,” according to a statement. For this, the magazine presents Zayn as one of five cover stars for it upcoming September issue, its theme being “Rise of the Rebel.”
What’s ironic about Elle UK‘s selection is that, while its redesign may be forward-thinking, its choice of cover star is more or less predictable. Unfortunately, this September issue is far from the first time that the media has been depicted as a rebel, with how he left One Direction to pursue a solo career with a single called “Pillowtalk.” (Yawn.)
