Is Demi Lovato's slinky new single a hit or miss? Our editors give it a rating out of 10.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas showed solidarity with Orlando during their July 2 Future Now tour concert at Amway Center. After a prayer, the co-headliners brought out Andra Day, the two-time Grammy-nominated singer who had a breakout 2015 with her debut, Cheers to the Fall.

Like at this year’s Austin City Limits, Andra dedicated her R&B hit “Rise Up” to the recent Orlando shooting victims. The names of all 49 people at gay nightclub Pulse, along with The Voice finalist Christina Grimmie, scrolled on the screen behind them. Nick and Demi sang backup while Andra got visibly emotional.

“This song is incredibly inspiring, and she is incredibly inspiring,” Nick said to introduce Andra. Below, watch the tribute from two viewpoints — one being far enough away to see the names of all 50 victims, and one close up to better see Andra, Demi and Nick sing together.
