Allie X’s “All The Rage”: Listen To The Lead ‘CollXtion II” Single

In early spring we tipped you off that one of our favorite pop oddities, Allie X, would be following up her superb 2015 release CollXtion with the aptly-titled CollXtion II. Lead single “All The Rage” arrived today, just ahead of the singer’s gig opening for Take That in London’s Hyde Park on July 9, and it’s another giddy, galloping electro-pop number that’s as easy as pie to sing along to. (How does she manage to do that time after time?)

“All The Rage” follows one-off single “Old Habits Die Hard,” released in February. But whereas the latter kept in line with the subtle, dark synth-pop of the first CollXtion, the former hints at a more upbeat sound for Allie.

According to a press release, the Canadian singer is currently working on ‘CollXtion II Unsolved’, “a collaboration between artist and fan, which allows fan’s comments and input to form part of the creative discussion and their feedback will help shape the final version of ‘CollXtion II’.” You can take part in that here, and give “All The Rage” a listen above.
