Today (July 11) is Alessia Cara‘s 20th birthday, and to celebrate, she has announced a new tour and premiered the video for “Scars To Your Beautiful,” the third single off her debut Know-It-All.
Cara told Cosmo the self-empowerment song is basically her own spin on something like TLC‘s “Unpretty” or Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful,” and so she wanted the visual to feature transgender people, cancer survivors and others with visible and “non-visible scars” telling their stories. Also, JoJo is in it!
