Cherryade just released their infectious new song “The Crown,” the official follow-up to their prickly number “Fractured Fairytales.”

Here, the British duo navigate through the superficial phonies and haters. “I’m a high-profile. Do you want my mobile? Do you search for my name in your free time? Ain’t hard when you got nothing to live for,” they sing over a synthy, playful melody. It’s a joyous, confident misfit anthem, ready to dispel any poser in its path.

“We wrote ‘The Crown’ about growing up in a small town where nobody had any ambition, and if you did you were laughed at,” the band said in a statement. “We then ran away to London and realised everything is the same everywhere you go. People are always going to talk about you, and make a big deal out of nothing. This is the song that made us realise we don’t give a shit anymore.”
