Mike Perry And Shy Martin’s “The Ocean” Video: Premiere
You can’t help but get the feeling that Mike Perry is on to something special with his debut single “The Ocean,” featuring Shy Martin. The wistful, sun-kissed number has been streamed over 70 million times on Spotify and is currently ranked number 15 on the Global Spotify chart. Now, the track has a dreamy video, which we’re very excited to premiere below.
Directed by Jimi Drosinos, the visual sees a couple exploring the Greek island of Ios. They lounge in an infinity pool, cliff dive into the beautiful blue sea and watch a mesmerizing sunset on top of a cliff. Basically, it’s the ultimate depiction of summer vacation goals. It also happens to fit the track’s lush trop-house melody like a glove.
“I am really thrilled over the huge success I’m having with ‘The Ocean,'” Perry tells us. “I guess it’s because it has a contemporary sound and is easy to absorb.”
