Liam Payne Lands Solo Deal With Capitol
Liam Payne has landed a solo recording deal with Capitol Records. The One Direction member tweeted out the news this afternoon, saying, “One Direction will always be my home and family but I’m very excited to see what this chapter brings.”

Last month, Payne’s 1D bandmate Harry Styles reportedly inked his own deal with Columbia, though it hasn’t been officially announced. And with a role in Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk keeping Styles occupied anyway, Payne could beat him to the solo release punch.
