Toni Braxton Is Working On New Material
Toni Braxton is back in the studio and working on new music. Find out more.

Toni Braxton is hitting the road with The Hits Tour, which kicks off in Oakland, California on October 8 and then crisscrosses the country before winding up in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 12. The name of the tour says it all — the 48-year-old diva will be performing all her classic hits including signature songs “Unbreak My Heart,” “Breathe Again” and “He Wasn’t Man Enough” as well as tracks from 2015 Grammy-winning duets album Love, Marriage & Divorce.

As for new material? Well, we might have to wait for that. Toni revealed she was working on a new LP in 2015 (and promised a new single by the end of the year), but it never eventuated. “I am working on an album right now,” she told HuffPost Live. “I’m working on it, I’m getting back into the mix again.” The direction? “[I’m working with] different writers and producers… me and Babyface will definitely do something again later but this is gonna be just me.” Fingers crossed it arrives sooner rather than later.
