Nao reunites with her early collaborator A.K. Paul for her new song “Trophy.” The anti-objectification number premiered today with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. It simmers with the type of simple, melty groove the Paul brothers are known for, as Nao’s voice swirls in and out alongside choppy guitars, with A.K. contributing some backing vox.
The outstanding cut is off the British singer’s debut album For All We Know, out tomorrow (July 29). And you guys, it’s not even the best song of the set.
