Lady Gaga Covers The Beatles, Cher And Edith Piaf At DNC Concert: Watch
On Thursday (July 28), Lady Gaga took the stage at Camden Rising, a concert supported by the DNC, at New Jersey’s BB&T Pavilion. She was one of a few artists (Lenny Kravitz and DJ Jazzy Jeff also performed) to join in on the festivities.
Introduced by Senator Cory Booker, Mother Monster not only sang stripped down versions of “Bad Romance” and “You And I,” but also covered songs by The Beatles, Neil Young, and Cher. And as if that wasn’t enough, Gaga closed the entire affair out with a powerful rendition of Edith Piaf‘s “La Vie En Rose.” A gorgeous voice and a true modern-day icon, indeed.
