Skai Jackson Explains Why She Ended Azealia
Skai Jackson turned out to be the chosen one, ending Azealia Banks on Twitter.

Azealia Banks has had a shocking 2016 by any measure. The rapper’s latest mixtape came and went without making an impact, she was dropped from Rihanna’s ANTI album (after bragging about her big break) and faced public humiliation after being dragged by a 14-year-old on Twitter. To make matters worse, the Broke With Expensive Taste diva was then banned from the micro-blogging site for using racist and homophobic language — robbing her of her major platform and, it turns out, her relevance.

Well, it seems the 25-year-old is having just as miserable a time on Facebook. “I’m seriously tired of peoples feelings,” she posted yesterday (August 2). “I’m tired of seeing their overly sensitive reactions and responses to everything. I’m tired of having everything I say or do be monitored and I’m tired of being told how I should be behaving.” Azealia then announced her retirement from social media altogether.

“I’m quitting Facebook, and any other form of social media that allows me to engage with people,” she wrote. “My legacy can’t live and die on the Internet.” Unfortunately, you could argue that it already has. And don’t worry about missing your Azealia fix. The former-buzz artist is still using Instagram. (It must be exempt). Her latest post? A close up of her butt. Check it out below.
