Welp, it seems that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga‘s follow-up to Cheek To Cheek is going to come later than we thought.

Although rumors were swirling around that the two wanted the release of their second joint album to coincide with Bennett’s 90th birthday (August 3),  the jazz legend told Billboard in a recent interview that work on the project will only commence next year.

“She’s busy right now,” Bennett revealed. “But at the beginning of next year we’ll start doing an album. The first one went way over a million, and it’s still selling.”

The singer also celebrated his birthday with a massive star-studded party and got a major shout-out from Mother Monster, who took to Twitter to express her love.

“A beautiful night w/ beautiful friends,” she wrote. “We [love] you Tony you’re the apple of our eyes.
