Britney Spears’ Glory era has been more miss (“Private Show” and “Clumsy”) than hit (“Make Me”) so far, but the pop icon has another chance to turn it around with “Do You Wanna Come Over?” The album’s latest buzz single arrives on Thursday (August 18) and is reportedly the handiwork of Swedish hitmakers Mattman & Robin. They produced Selena Gomez’s “Hands To Myself” and “Me & The Rhythm,” so it looks like the influence of Revival looms large over the whole project.

Interestingly, “Do You Wanna Come Over?” is absent from those purported tracklists doing the rounds on social media. I guess we can finally disregard them as fiction. In other (probably fake) Britney news, a fan site claims that Justin Bieber features on the finished version of “Just Love Me.” There has been no confirmation from an official source, but the track was written by the team behind “Sorry” — so there is a connection. Time will tell if that’s legit. In the meantime, brace yourself for new music later this week.
