Frank Ocean Status Update: The Warehouse Has Been Located

It’s now been two weeks since Frank Ocean first posted a stream on his site showing him woodworking in a warehouse. Nobody knows what it means, and what it means regarding the release of his album Boys Don’t Cry. But stans and internet sleuths on Reddit have been trying to crack the code, and their latest discovery appears to be the warehouse that served as Frank’s carpentry headquarters.

I don’t know how, but they came across a listing for this $3,200/day warehouse space in Brooklyn, which surely seems to be the place.

Fun fact: It has five bathrooms.

Other than that, there’s not much to report on the Frank front. His Channel Orange producer Malay did an AMA yesterday (August 15) with a strict “no questions about Ocean’s new album” policy, so he only offered this: “art cannot be rushed.” Previously, Malay had this to say about the new material: “Frank’s exploring different vibes completely on this album. I wouldn’t say it’s vocally looser but just his mentality.”
