Ellie Goulding’s “Still Falling For You”: Listen To The ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ Ballad
There’s something familiar now about Ellie Goulding recording a soaring ballad for a romantic movie’s soundtrack, no matter how quirky or, um, naughty said film may be. Last year the 29-year-old singer whipped up the Grammy-nominated “Love Me Like You Do” for Fifty Shades Of Grey, to great success. And this time around she’s contributed “Still Falling For You” to Bridget Jones’s Baby.
The latter song, released today (August 19), comes off as familiar territory for Goulding at this point. The British singer’s layered vocals glide over building synthscape that eventually gives way to an explosive chorus. If you dig her, you’ll definitely dig this.
Is Ellie Goulding becoming the Bryan Adams of the modern pop soundtrack era? We’ll see.
