After writing Lemonade highlights “Sorry,” “Don’t Hurt Yourself” and “Daddy Issues” — plus the instantly iconic “Becky with the good hair” line — Wynter Gordon dropped her stage name and decided to start over as Diana Gordon. She reintroduced herself with fiery single “The Legend Of,” and today she follows it up with “Woman,” alongside news that she has signed with legendary British label 4AD (currently home to Grimes, The National, Ariel Pink).

Girls run the world in “Woman,” with Gordon boasting about all the traits and contradictions of a strong woman, hollering “God gave you the answer when he gave you the woman / I know you’re the man but don’t forget where you come from” refrain.

She’ll perform the song for the first time tonight on the Late Show. Give it a listen below, and then see what she had to say about working with Beyoncé.
