Is Mother Monster's lead single off her fifth album a return to form? Idolator editors weigh in.

On September 9, Ariana Grande joined Victoria Monet on stage while opening for Fifth Harmony‘s 7/27 Tour in Irvine, California. To shrieks, they sang the duet version of Victoria’s protest song “Better Days,” along with “Be Alright,” which she wrote for Ariana’s third album Dangerous Woman.

“I have no words to express how much love I have for this incredible woman!!!!” Ariana said on Instagram. “I’m so proud of you and so so blown away by your talent but mostly your heart. Here’s to a lifetime of writing songs in our PJs together, laughing til we fucking cry, and dancing the same way on stage together as we do on your couch / strutting down the isles [sic] of whole foods.”

Ariana’s guest appearance wasn’t even the only surprise of the night. Once Fifth Harmony took the stage, Ty Dolla $ign joined the group to perform his sung verse in 7/27 lead single “Work from Home.” Watch it all go down below.
