Kesha Drops Lawsuit Against Dr. Luke
Kesha dropped her California civil law suit against her former mentor Dr. Luke.

While Kesha’s legal woes are far from over, the pop star is forging ahead with new music. “Making a FUCK OFF song with a casual Grammy award winning secret person,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday (September 11). “I got a good feeling about this one.” Internet detectives were quick to single out Taylor Swift as the prime suspect (she donated money to the former K$’s legal fund and they are both currently in New York), but that’s hardly conclusive. Regardless of her mystery collaborator’s identity, it’s great to see Kesha back in the studio.

“My fight continues,” the much-missed hitmaker wrote in a note to fans in August. “I need to get my music out. I have so much to say. This lawsuit is so heavy on my once free spirit, and I can only pray to one day feel that happiness again. I am continuing to fight for my rights in New York. Thank you for all your support. The support of my fans has been so beautiful and I’m so grateful for it. I’m Not sure where I would be without you all.” With the exception of a feature on Zedd’s “True Colors,” the 29-year-old’s last official release was “Timber” way back in 2013.
