Stream Britney Spears’ DJ Mustard-Produced “Mood Ring”
Look, I don’t understand the need for different international versions of albums in the digital age. But ever since Carly Rae Jepsen‘s E•MO•TION got a release in Japan that came months before its US release, I’ve stopped trying to figure out this bizarre practice. And with that I present t0 you: Britney Spears‘ “Mood Ring.”
It was set to be one of the most marketable songs from her latest album, Glory, due to the fact that it was produced by hitmaker DJ Mustard. But for whatever reason, it didn’t appear on the album here, and instead only showed up as a bonus track on the Japanese edition, which is out tomorrow. Makes total sense! Anyway, snippets have been floating around for a bit, but now a CDQ stream has surfaced.
