Tinashe’s “Company” Is Here: Listen

I’m done trying to figure out what the hell is going on with Tinashe‘s second album cycle. The fact that it’s called Joyride is almost poetic. Anyway, “Company” is the latest song to be lifted from the album, which still doesn’t have a release date.

Whereas “Superlove” was an energetic dance cut, this one’s more about the groove, as she croons about getting what she wants with no strings attached, over some serrated 8-bit synths and bass throbs. No word yet on who produced the track, but the album should have credits from The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Metro Boomin, Boi-1da, and more. Regardless, this is a very cool song and it doesn’t deserve to get submarined by whatever nonsense is going on behind the scenes with this LP.

Listen below.
