Sky Ferreira Teases New Album ‘Masochism’
At last, Sky Ferreira is ready to unleash her sophomore album. Earlier today (September 17), she shared a still from what appears to be an unreleased music video. You see her face, though as if via a damaged VHS — an image that could well be out of some horror flick. “Editing. Lots of surprises next week hint hint nudge nudge #Masochism,” Sky says on Instagram.
Masochism would be the title of Sky’s new album, which follows 2013’s Night Time, My Time. For her new music she has been working with Mike Dean (Kanye West, Travis Scott), Night Time producer Ariel Rechtshaid and Rahki (Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott). “It’s more like The Knife or Fever Ray in terms of the production,” she said to BEAT magazine.
But is she about to release Masochism‘s debut single? The entire album, even? At this point, it’s anyone’s best guess. See Sky Ferreira’s Masochism teaser below.
