Well that was fast. The theme song to the surprise hit show of the summer, Stranger Things, has been sampled in a new song. Wiz Khalifa is the enterprising MC to ride the Netflix show’s wave for his aptly titled “Stranger Things,” and E. Dan, Big Jerm, and Sayez are the clever producers who flipped the sample.

The song also features J.R. Donato as well as Wiz’s usual dose of deft wordplay……………..(“It’s like I’m talking to a stranger / Now everybody’s getting stranger”).

The song from the show’s opening sequence, and whole score for season 1, was the work of  Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, who are members of the synth band S U R V I V E.
