Lady Gaga‘s “Perfect Illusion” made its debut on the Hot 100 after a week being out in the world, and it enters at the No. 15 spot. It’s a disappointing mark for the Joanne leader compared to where her last two lead singles landed: 2011’s “Born This Way” entered at No. 1 and stayed at the top for six weeks, while 2o13’s “Applause” debuted at No. 6 and went on to peak at No. 4.

With the video premiering tomorrow (September 20), the single could get a boost based on those streams, so it’s not out of the question that she’ll break into the Top 10 next week. Still, that we have to hypothesize about Gaga maybe being able to crack the Top 10 with a lead single illustrates just how much her career trajectory and/or the pop landscape has changed since the early part of this decade.

The silver lining is that “Perfect Illusion” entered the Digital Songs chart in the second spot with 100,000 sales in its first week, so it’s not like Gaga doesn’t have any commercial pull. In addition, Billboard reports it entered the Streaming Songs chart at No. 25 with 8.3 million streams.
