Britney Spears Announces New App
Britney Spears will connect with fans via a new app that allows more interaction.

Britney Spears has got so much right this era that it almost feels mean to bring up that breathtakingly awful “Make Me” video. But it’s clearly on the pop diva’s mind. She unveiled an alternate version of the Randee St. Nicholas-directed clip last night (September 20) via her American Dream app. The new edit removes those cringeworthy audition scenes and adds in more footage of Britney wandering hallways in soft light. “Make Me” still feels undercooked, but it’s no longer the Battlefield Earth of music videos.

In other news, the 34-year-old is releasing another app. “There’s a lot of skits and a lot of interaction with the fans where I actually ask them questions and bring them into the situation so we can have some kind of connection going on,” Britney told iHeart Radio. The venture was inspired by meet & greets at her Las vegas residency. “I meet like 30 to 40 people every night,” Britney explained. “They come in, I say hello to them, and we take pictures and they show me their tattoos, and they show me all these different things and it’s cool. It’s really fun. There’s a lot of regulars that come back every week.”
