Miley Cyrus Joins Billy Idol For “Rebel Yell” At iHeartFestival: Watch
The iHeartRadio Music Festival kicked off last night (September 23) with a major surprise. Miley Cyrus, who wasn’t on the bill, had the crowd freaking out when she joined Billy Idol on stage to perform his 1983 New Wave hit “Rebel Yell.”
While wearing a leather jacket bearing his face and pants spelling out his name, Miley addressed the veteran punk star as “Billy f—kin’ Idol,” which seemed more than appropriate.
This isn’t the first time that the current Voice mentor sang “Rebel Yell” for a crowd. In 2012, she shocked when she performed the song on VH1 Divas. “Miley Cyrus Grabs Crotch at VH1 Divas Concert,” cried Us Weekly, and while still addressing her as “the former Hannah Montana star.”
Meanwhile, Billy loved what he saw. “I enjoyed seeing @MileyCyrus having fun rockin’ out with Rebel Yell on vh1divas!” he said on Twitter. ‘Take that bitches!'”
