It’s still September and we still have to survive a presidential election so why not just throw the stress of the holidays into the mix already, too? Kelly Clarkson and Chance The Rapper have been announced for the White House Christmas Tree Lighting Concert. They’ll perform at the annual ceremony on December 1 along with gospel singer Yolanda Adams.

President Obama is a known fan of Chance, and he even met with the Chicago artist in April to discuss criminal justice reform. Clarkson is also familiar with this type of presidential performance, having done “My Country, ‘Tis Of Thee” at Obama’s second inauguration in 2013. Hopefully this time she’ll belt out her future Christmas classic “Underneath The Tree.”

The lottery for free tickets to the event begins at 10 a.m. ET on October 7, and you can enter at www.thenationaltree.org.
