Ally Brooke Covers Selena’s “Como La Flor” At Fifth Harmony Concert: Watch
Ally Brooke Hernandez paid tribute to the late Selena during Fifth Harmony‘s September 28 concert in Monterrey, Mexico. She briefly led the crowd through a sing-along of “Como La Flor,” the 1992 Selena Y Los Dinos hit. The real treat, though, was hearing Ally Brooke end her cover on a literal high note — proof of how she idolized the iconic singer while growing up in San Antonio, Texas.
The Fifth Harmony member did this in honor of the M.A.C. Selena launch, which she was invited to but couldn’t attend because of the group’s ongoing Mexico tour. “As one of the biggest Selena fans ever, I am so beyond proud, happy and emotional that this beautiful collection is coming out in her honor,” Ally Brooke said in a video the next day.
