Usher's 'Hard II Love': Album Review
Is Usher's 'Hard II Love' a slept-on gem or a complete misfire? Read our review.

The title of Usher’s 8th LP turned out to be prophetic. After years of delays, Hard II Love finally arrived this month and struggled to find an audience. In fact, the album sold a depressing 28,000 copies — approximately 100,000 less than 2012’s Looking 4 Myself managed in its first week. While the charts have been less than kind to him of late, the R&B superstar has been garnering all sorts of attention on social media with shirtless selfies and nude Snaps.

While it might surprise some that the 37-year-old is posting nudes in the middle of the night, this is actually quite demure in comparison to his infamous steam-room Snap, in which he appeared full-frontal nude with only an emoji to (not-quite) cover his manhood. Welcome to promo in the digital age!
