Lana Del Rey's 'Honeymoon': Review
We review Lana Del Rey's spellbinding third album 'Honeymoon.' Find out more.

Lana Del Rey has been unusually active on social media this week. The dark-pop goddess fired off a one-word tweet (“you”), urged fans to get political on Instagram and posted a dreamy Facebook video. The latter finds LDR driving around Los Angeles listening to Ella Fitzgerald’s “I’ll Never Be The Same.” All the sepia-toned clip needs is a debonair gentleman of a certain age smoking a cigarette in the seat next to her and this could pass for an official Honeymoon visual.

As for the “Music To Watch Boys To” singer’s political message? “I’m just checking to see that you guys are watching,” Lana said in a video posted during the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. “I think it’s so important to have all the information that you can have to make the best decisions for your future. I know when you’re young it just doesn’t seem like it’s as important but when you get older you want to trust your leaders and you want to trust your own decisions and the only way to do that is to have as much information as you can.”
