Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). That means the smash has a combined sales and streaming tally of 10 million units. How rare is this achievement? Very. “Congratulations to @carlyraejepsen!” RIAA tweeted this afternoon (October 5). “#CallMeMaybe is the 12th Diamond song in @RIAA Gold & Platinum Program history!” The Canadian pop star is only the fourth female artist to join the diamond single club after Katy Perry, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

Let’s break down “Call Me Maybe” in numbers. Carly Rae’s unstoppable anthem spent nine weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the second highest-selling song of 2012 after Gotye and Kimbra’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” (another gem that is probably eligible for a diamond cert). The bubbly bop has sold 7.6 million digital copies and earned Grammy nominations for Song Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance. See a list of all the diamond certified singles below.
