Hear An Early Version Of Kanye West’s “Famous” Featuring Young Thug
A demo version of Kanye West‘s The Life Of Pablo standout “Famous” leaked back in February, along with other purported TLOP scraps. But now a different early version of the song has surfaced, and instead of Rihanna and Swizz Beatz it features Young Thug. This isn’t surprising, since ahead of that album, Thug said the two of them had some 40 songs they worked on.
This version seems to date back to when the song was still called “Nina Chop.” Key differences: a couple Thug verses, a slower beat, rather than Rihanna interpolating the Nina Simone song, the sample is intact for the hook and Thugger mewls overtop of it. Also, West’s lyrics are unfinished, but the Taylor Swift diss is already there, though altered to “still owes me sex” — and his ex Amber Rose gets the same treatment.
