Alicia Keys Teams Up With A$AP Rocky On Moving Single “Blended Family”: Listen

Alicia Keys has released her dreamy new single “Blended Family,” featuring New York rapper A$AP Rocky.

This song is a particularly moving one, as Keys croons about her relationship with producer (and now husband) Swizz Beatz. “I think you’re beautiful/ I think you’re perfect/ I know how hard it gets/But I swear it’s worth it, worth it,” she sings, referring to them starting a new family together with Swizz’s son from his marriage to singer Mashonda. A$AP then proceeds to deliver a heartfelt verse about his personal experience of growing up in a blended family by the number’s end.

“It [This track] means so much to me and our whole family,” the singer wrote on her website. “The understanding, compassion and support we’ve found is a powerful testament to the healing that comes when we choose love. Especially for the kids… the most important part of our lives.”

Keys also went on to announce that her new album, Here, is scheduled to release on November 4.
