The Veronicas' Striking "In My Blood" Video
The Veronicas dropped the video for new single "In My Blood" today. Watch now.

The Veronicas will release the follow-up to “In My Blood” on Friday (October 14). I think. The duo tweeted what appear to be lyrics (“life isn’t pretty, we all get a little wrecked sometimes”) this afternoon with an attention-grabbing caption: “14.10.16.” It will be interesting to see what Lisa and Jess come up with because they are on a roll. The aforementioned dance/pop gem reached number 1 in Australia and sold platinum. It also earned them ARIA nominations for Best Pop Release and Song Of The Year.

The latter is a particularly hot field with “In My Blood” facing stiff competition from Sia’s “Cheap Thrills,” Flume’s “Never Be Like You,” Troye Sivan’s “Youth” and Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood’s “The Fighter.” The Veronicas’ mystery single will be the second taste of their 4th LP, which is due in early 2017. They made an epic comeback after a seven year break with 2014’s self-titled effort. I’m glad the turn around is quicker this time around. See their announcement below.
