Rita Ora Channels Christina Aguilera In ‘Paper Magazine’: 8 Pics

Rita Ora's Album Is Almost Done
Here's some good news for Rita Ora fans! The Brit's second album is almost done.

Rita Ora hasn’t released an album since 2012, but that hasn’t hindered her ability to book magazine covers. The 25-year-old graces the October issue of Paper rocking a replica of Christina Aguilera’s “Lady Marmalade” wig. The entire shoot is vaguely ’70s with disco-inspired ensembles, big hair and colorful make-up. On the off chance you still care, the Brit also spoke about her music. “I’m so happy [to go into the studio] because I can take my extensions out, put my cap on and hibernate in a cave and just make great songs with my label, who is awesome and who has my back,” she reveals in the cover story.

Apart from working on her album (very slowly), Rita is about to conquer TV as the new host of America’s Next Top Model. And she plans to do things differently than Tyra Banks. “I don’t think just taking a photo is enough anymore,” the pop star says of contestants. “We focus on how you’re going to create a fan base on social media, how you’re going to make people want to imitate you. That for me is the difference between somebody who’s just a regular model and somebody who’s a superstar.” So, they’re basically turning it into RuPaul’s Drag Race?
