Kelly Rowland Talks New Music In 'Schön!'
Kelly Rowland hints at exploring EDM on her fifth album in a new interview.

All signs point to Kelly Rowland relaunching in the not-too-distant future. The Destiny’s Child diva, who features on Solange’s A Seat At The Table LP, started drumming up hype for new album in the September issue of Schön! Magazine. She posed for a gorgeous photo shoot and promised that EDM “will definitely be a part of the record.” The arrival of a dance video for 2015 buzz track “Dumb” (bottom of post) kept people talking, while new snippet “Conceited” proves that the 35-year-old means business.

“Get a taste of new music,” was all Kelly had to say about the song on Facebook today (October 18). Largely because the slow jam speaks for itself. “Hold me like I’m leavin,’ show me that you need me,” she sings over jittery synths. “Being pretty ain’t easy, you see mirrors can be deceiving.” That takes us to the chorus, which finds the enduring hitmaker railing against beauty standards. “So won’t you tell me something good, ’cause if you really loved me then you would. I’m conceited.” Listen to a preview of the promising single below.
