Little Mix Hit The Desert In Vibrant “Shout Out To My Ex” Video
Little Mix’s new single, “Shout Out To My Ex,” has generated more than its fair share of controversy (it sounds very similar to G.R.L.’s 2014 hit “Ugly Heart”), but that doesn’t seem to have affected its chart performance. At all. The Electric-produced anthem went top 10 on iTunes in 46 different countries and is headed to number one in the UK with a first-week sales tally of more than 100,000 copies. Zayn Malik’s least favorite song is destined to climb even high with the arrival of a glossy video.
The colorful clip finds the ladies spending some quality time together in the desert. While the neon colors and flamingos of Las Vegas were a clear influence, the visual was actually filmed in Almeria, Spain. Little Mix hang out in a trailer, take a drive along a highway lined with lavender-colored trees and pose like supermodels by a pool. It’s all very glamorous and promises big things for their upcoming 4th LP, Glory Days (due November 18). Watch the visual up top.
