Seven days ago, we listed out Lady Gaga‘s five studio albums — The Fame, Born This Way, ArtpopCheek To Cheek and Joanne — and threw 2009 EP The Fame Monster in for good measure, then asked you to vote for your favorite of all six of her main releases over the past eight years. Our reason for including the latter? The eight-track Fame Monster is an undeniable pop masterpiece, we noted, and we can’t not include it. And it looks like the majority of you agree.

When all was said and done, The Fame Monster, which contains such classic singles “Bad Romance,” “Telephone” and “Alejandro,” narrowly edged out Gaga’s latest chart-topping album, Joanne, to win our poll. Those two racked up 752 and 742 votes, respectively.

Mother Monster’s ambitious 2011 epic Born This Way came in third with 427 votes total, while Artpop (329) and Gaga’s 2008 debut album The Fame (101) followed.

Grammy winner Cheek To Cheek was the clear loser of the group, as it accrued a mere 11 votes over the past week. So much for jazz!
